If you know the source of any 'unknown' or have found I've credited the wrong person, please send a link of their website or screenshot of a book, magazine article, etc where the person who spoke it is the author.  I did my best to research these.

There are three constants in life…change, choice and principles.

Stephen Covey

If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude.

Maya Angelou

The people who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world are the ones who do.

Steve Jobs

When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change. Wayne Dyer

We as humans are always in the process of change. Therefore, we might as well guide the direction in which we change.

Andy Andrews from The Traveler's Gift

From the section entitled: Evolution, Change, and Neuroplasticity in the book Evolve Your Brain by Dr. Joe Dispenza:

  • Change is a powerful word and it is completely feasible if you choose it.

  • Essentially, to evolve [get better, stronger, etc] is to change by adapting to the environment… everything that makes up our lives. To change is to be greater than the environment.

  • When we change something in our lives, we have to make it different than it would be if we had left it alone. To change it to become different. It means we are no longer than who we used to be. We have modified how we think, what we do, what we say, how we act, and who we are being. Personal change takes an intentional act of will.

  • We can change … so that we no longer fall into those repetitive, habitual, and unhealthy reactions.

  • … learn how to use the brain’s natural capacity of neuroplasticity, the ability to rewire and create new neurocircuits at any age to make substantial changes in the quality of your life.

All changes, even the most longed for, have their melancholy; for what we leave behind us is a part of ourselves. We must die in one life before we can enter another.

Anatole France

Change is hardest at the beginning, messiest in the middle, and best at the end.

Robin Sharma

Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.

Jalaluddin Mevlana Rumi

Very often a change of self is needed more than a change of scene.

A. C. Benson

Change before you have to.

Jack Welch

If you do not change direction, you may end up where you are heading.

Lao Tzu

It takes courage to examine your life and to decide that there are things you would like to change, and it takes even more courage to do something about it.

Sue Hadfield

Just when I think I have learned the way to live, life changes.

Hugh Prather

Remember that life’s big changes rarely give advance warning.

H. Jackson Brown, Jr.

The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new.

Socrates

Life belongs to the living, and he who lives must be prepared for changes.

Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.

Change is inevitable. Growth is optional.

John Maxwell

We cannot change anything until we accept it. Condemnation does not liberate, it oppresses.

Carl Jung

Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don't resist them; that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.

Lao Tzu

The first step toward change is awareness. The second step is acceptance. Nathaniel Branden

Change is the one thing in life on which we can absolutely count.... see change for what it really is. New opportunity, new chances for further fulfillment.

Earle Nightingale

I can’t change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination.

Jimmy Dean

Grandfather says this: “Being strong means taking one more step toward the top of the hill, no matter how weary you may be. It means letting the tears flow through the grief. It means to keep looking for the answer, though the darkness of despair is all around you. Being strong means to cling to hope for one more heartbeat, one more sunrise. Each step, not matter how difficult, is one more step closer to the top of the hill. To keep hope alive for one more heartbeat at a time leads to the light of the next sunrise, and the promise of a new day."

Joseph M. Marshall III in Keep Going: The Art of Perseverance

A positive attitude gives you power over your circumstances instead of your circumstances having power over you.

Joyce Meyer

Once you replace negative thoughts with positive ones, you'll start having positive results.

Willie Nelson

Change is not an event, it’s a process.

Cheryl James

Staying positive does not mean that things will turn out ok. Rather it is knowing that you will be ok no matter how things turn out.

unknown

You are what you are and where you are because of what's gone into your mind. You can change what you are and where you are by changing what goes into your mind.

Zig Ziglar

Practicing power statements (piece of cake, step it up, I got this) until they become second nature will, over time, place the interdiction process (stopping the negative mental talk) on an autopilot. Juiced up power statements explode negative mental chatter and allow your mind to still itself and await its next set of instructions…negativity will return unless you redirect your mind to a new, positive thought pattern.

 Mark Divine in Unbeatable Mind

Most of the time you don't need more information, you need more courage. James Clear

I suggest that you read autobiographies (books written by that person) or biographies (written about someone by someone else). You will grow in ways you never dreamed of, even reading or listening to just 1 chapter a day or a few a week. Libraries and archive.org are a good place to look that will not cost you anything. If you have an audible membership, they have some free ones and you will have access to tons of them if you are a member of SCRIBD.
